Scope

Send only products that will be counted in Algure. Products with no stock are usually not useful for Algure operations, so they should normally be excluded from the feed.

Missing Products and Stock Behavior

If a previously imported product/location/lot is not present in a new feed, Algure treats it as no longer available in the current state:
  • It is deactivated
  • Its stock is set to 0
In practice, products not sent are treated as zero stock in the current import state.

Retention Policy

By default, stale data retention is 180 days. After this period, stale product-location and lot-location records that were not part of new imports and have no countings are permanently deleted. Records linked to countings are preserved for history, but stale entries remain deactivated with stock 0.

Practical Rules

  • Include all products you plan to count
  • Keep only current stock reality in each upload
  • Omit items you no longer want active in Algure
